Our client, a leading media company headquartered in Australia, primarily engages in live sports broadcasting, large-scale entertainment events, theater productions, and program production. To adapt to industry developments and enhance audience experiences, they require a cabling solution that meets high-performance demands while effectively saving space in the data center.

Challenges

The client is preparing for an international event and relies on the data center for business support. As the number of servers increases and computing capacity expands, the data center has become densely populated with equipment. Therefore, they are seeking a solution provider to devise a high-density cabling solution capable of accommodating multiple 40G and 100G connections within the limited space of the data center room, ensuring both signal quality and system reliability.

Solutions

Based on the customer's environment and business needs, the expert technical team designed a high-density FHD® solution to address the limited data center space issue and meet the requirements for compact cabling. This solution deploys FHD® MTP-LC Type A cassette, MTP® Jumper Type A cables, and FHD® MTP-LC Type AF cassette in the customer's data center. This setup can easily achieve 40G/100G network interconnections without replacing switches, optical modules, or other equipment while optimizing data center space utilization and enhancing overall aesthetics and cleanliness.

The FHD® 1U rack mount enclosure accepts up to 4pcs FHD® MTP-LC fiber cassettes, achieving a capacity of up to 144F connections in just 1U of space. It also features a cable manager with 360° rotatable D-rings, offering unparalleled flexibility for cabling. This high-density cabling solution improves energy efficiency, reduces maintenance costs, and enhances the data center's flexibility, helping customers better adapt to future business needs.

With seven global warehouses and robust supply chain support, all products are quickly coordinated and delivered on time. The technical expert team actively communicates with customers to provide tailored and effective custom solutions.
